Psychologists play a crucial role in supporting individuals through their mental health journey. They provide a safe and non-judgmental space for individuals to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, helping them gain insights, develop coping strategies, and work towards positive change.
Psychologists use their expertise to empower individuals to overcome challenges, improve their mental well-being, and enhance their overall quality of life.
Through virtual sessions, individuals can access therapy from the comfort of their own home, eliminating the need to commute to appointments. This can be particularly beneficial for those with mobility issues, busy schedules, or living in remote areas. Additionally, telehealth therapy allows individuals to maintain a sense of privacy and confidentiality, promoting a sense of safety and comfort during therapy sessions. The flexibility of telehealth also enables individuals to schedule appointments at times that work best for them, making mental health support more accessible and convenient.
Appointments are $214.41 per 50 minutes for NDIS, Medicare or private pay participants. Medicare participants will require a GP referral. NDIS participants no GP referral is required.
